Augst 29, 2006. - A bit of a facelift as far as functionality. Should be more usable for folks.

Introduction

What is this site about? Well, it's basically a gallery of coins from my coin collection. I love collecting coins, especially older worldwide pieces. Since I keep my coins in a safe deposit box (I'm not dumb :), that pretty much precludes having them around to enjoy them. The answer? Why not have pictures available; it's the next best thing... so as long as I'm making pictures for my enjoyment, I might as well share.

All the coins here are from my personal collection, either past or present (some of the coins may since have been traded or sold).

How do you take your pictures? My camera of choice is an Olympus C-7070 Wide-Angle Zoom; super-macro mode is used. I use a copy stand to keep the camera steady, and a single Ott Light to provide lighting. I'm a photography novice, so if I can get decent shots, anyone can!

This site contains pictures going all the way back to when I first started photographiing coins, so there is a wide variety in the quality of the shots. ;)

Are the coins for sale? No. Not unless you want to make a ridiculously ludicrous offer on a piece...:)
